Services

Image of roving survey.

Geoforce is problem rather than technology focused. As the imaging capability of individual geophysical approaches is site specific, we offer a range of different approaches to ensure an optimal solution. In addition we offer both data acquisition and consulting services, providing a full solution to the subsurface imaging problem from survey planning through to rectified images that can be imported straight into engineering and mine design computer software packages. We also have a strong background in the development and implementation of new technology in the mining and geotechnical sectors, and participate in R&D projects. Specific geophysical services include (but are not limited to):

  • fixed and roving electromagnetic surveys (airborne, surface, downhole and mine drive).
  • ground penetrating radar (surface and boreholes)
  • electrical resistivity imaging (surface and cross borehole)
  • 2D, 3D and downhole induced polarization (IP)
  • tomographic imaging
  • magnetics
  • surface radiometrics
  • seismics (crosshole, reflection, refraction and surface wave)

When required, surveys can be dynamically linked to Global Positioning System data, allowing mm spatial accuracy and easy integration with mining/engineering drawings and geological/geotechnical data.

Geoforce have a zero tolerance policy towards unsafe work. We have developed and implemented HSEC policies and procedures of a standard expected by major Mining Houses.

All equipment deployed complies with DoCEP requirements and our SWP is certified as required by DoCEP (including Zonge GGT30 Transmitter and associated ZMG30 generator). All crew members are trained as required by DoCEP and are holders of DoCEP certification. Our equipment used in and around mine sites also complies with the additional Mine Safety and Inspections Regulations and our mine site operators are aware of such requirements.
